Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of thepowercompany.com and any services we provide. By using the site or requesting a rate review, you agree to these terms.
What we do
The Power Company is an independent energy brokerage. We solicit competitive bids from licensed energy suppliers and help you select a supply contract. We are not a utility. Your local utility remains responsible for delivering your power or gas, reading your meter, and restoring service.
No cost to you
Our services are provided at no cost to our clients. Suppliers compensate us when we place a client under contract. This does not change the rate you pay — quoted pricing already reflects our compensation.
Accuracy of information
The rates, terms, and supplier offers presented on this site or in a quote are based on information available at the time and are subject to change. Final pricing is set in the supplier's contract document, which is the binding agreement.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate account and usage information.
- Review supplier contracts carefully before signing — the supplier is your counterparty, not The Power Company.
- Honor the term length, early-termination provisions, and renewal terms of any contract you execute.
Limitations
We make no warranty that any particular rate will be available, that savings will be achieved, or that a supplier will accept your account. Our liability is limited to the fees you have paid us, which are zero.
Communications
By submitting a rate-review request, you consent to be contacted by The Power Company by email or phone regarding your inquiry. You may opt out at any time by replying "stop" or emailing info@thepowercompany.com.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
